Specialty Sections
Trials in Special Populations was created for the peer-reviewed, rapid publication of research in population subgroups, including patients in whom treatment may be complicated by age (eg, geriatrics), sex, race, or culture; patients who are resistant to standard therapy; and patients who have an underlying disease that may complicate therapy (eg, hypertension in patients with diabetes mellitus).
Trials in Resource-Limited Settings is intended to highlight original medical and pharmaceutical reports from resource-limited settings. Authors for whom English is a second language will receive collaborative assistance from peer reviewers and medical editors.
