All manuscripts are peer reviewed for clinical relevance, technical accuracy, methodologic rigor, clarity, and objectivity by the Editor-in-Chief and by independent specialists. The decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a paper is communicated to the corresponding author in writing, usually within 3 to 4 weeks of receipt of the manuscript.
